The Plant Process Development Center is conducting elemental technology development of each unit facility, from fuel supply to synthetic gas production and utilization through gasification, and optimization technology for the entire process for the stable continuous operation of gasification systems that use various low-grade fuels such as coal, petroleum coke, and biomass. In addition, in the field of hydrogen, which has recently been spot lighted as pollution-free energy, research is being conducted on the development of elemental technologies such as risk assessment of hydrogen charging stations and hydrogen mixed combustion/complete combustion control technology.
