Advanced Material and Process Center specializes in researching inorganic and organic materials such as metals, ceramics, and polymers, as well as component materials required in the energy and environmental field, and the recycling processes and materialization of valuable metal resources. Our goals include the development of fundamental and practical technologies to enhance the reliability and stability of materials through the hybridization of organic/inorganic materials, functional component materials, high-value materialization technologies, and the recycling of valuable metal resources. We are engaged in research and development of alloy development and advanced material manufacturing processes.

Specifically, we are conducting research on powder materials, copper alloy materials, lightweight metal materials, energy storage materials, shape memory alloys, and aerospace materials. We also specialize in developing technologies for the high-efficiency recovery and recycling of valuable resources from electronic waste, process by-products, and industrial waste, enhancing the added value of recycled materials and developing domestic processes for foreign products.

Based on these technologies and experiences, we are engaged in research and development for joint technological development and commercialization in industry-academia-research cooperation. In particular, we professionally handle industry-academia-research cooperative projects with various experts, government, companies, and universities.
